Out in the Woods

Out in the woods all alone,
Standing here in a world that's gone.
Out in the woods where everyone goes
To get away from the fears? Nobody knows.
Taking my time to deal with life,
As bad as it may seem in pain and strife.
Trying to accomplish the tasks at hand,
But, we often forget of the friends that stand.
Stand by us when we are in troubled times,
Stand with us when we hate our lives.
Stand for us when we're down,
Stay with us while we drown.
Out in the woods, not all alone.
Out in the woods, taking care of our own.
Trying not to forget the things we learned.
Trying to forget the faces we burned.
Out in the woods, our past is our past,
Out in the woods, our life is our life,
Out in the woods, our future is unknown,
Our future together, forever alone.
